I offer equine massage services that help horse owners gain confidence, save money at the vet, spend more time in the arena, and have fun with their horse again.
It’s pretty simple, really. Tension in the body causes pain. Pain causes compensation. Compensation changes how the body moves. It shortens strides, takes away power, and over time, can cause injuries.
I take the time to find and release tension throughout the body in each horse, restoring normal function and range of motion. That means you have a faster horse with fewer injuries. And THAT means you win more $$ and spend less $$ at the vet. Sounds like a no brainer to me!
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, yet powerful technique that helps the horse release tension and reset the nervous system.
Several different massage strokes are combined, with a focus on trigger point work, to relieve muscle tension and restore function.
Microcurrent uses varying frequencies at the microamp level to restore circulation and promote faster healing.
I also offer red light therapy, kinesiology taping, fascia blading, and cupping.
I am an Equissage Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist and I have loved horses for as long as I can remember. I am passionate about learning as much as I can to help these phenomenal creatures feel their best. I believe that all levels and disciplines deserve to be pain free and comfortable, from the NFR qualifier to the trail horse, from the Olympic medalist, to the retired youth rodeo horse. They all deserve to be given the best chance possible to excel at their job.
I have over 20 years of horse industry experience riding with vets, working for trainers, training and competing on my own horses. I have an Associate’s in Equine Science as well as my ESMT certification, Equine Kinesiology Taping certification, and I am currently training in Osteopathic Craniosacral Therapy. I will never stop learning all that I can to help horses be the best they can be.
